A month or so back JEFF the Brotherhood announced their new album, Wasted on the Dream, was up for pre-order from Warner Bros. Then a couple of weeks ago people who preordered through Warner started to get cancellation notifications via email.

Now we know why. Well, sort of. JEFF the Brotherhood have announced that they have been dropped by their label Warner Brothers and they will instead be releasing their new album on their own imprint and former home, Infinity Cat.

The limited edition comes on Blue and White vinyl and it comes with a nice Sleep Core accoutrement which I know all the kids are into these days.

The Details

ο»Ώο»ΏWe are SUPER INCREDIBLY AMAZINGLY MINDBLOWINGLY STOKED that JEFF the Brotherhood is returning to the Infinity Cat family! Believe us when we say that it's an absolute honor to put out Wasted On The Dream. This album is never gonna leave yr car stereo, record player, headphones, or mind. It’s a van-rocking, bong-rattling slab that captures JEFF's fiery mixture of 70s hard rock, 80s punk, 90’s grunge and indelible pop melodies. PLUS, it features Jack Lawrence (Dead Weather, The Raconteurs) on bass, guest vocals by Bethany Cosentino (Best Coast) & Alicia Bognanno (Bully), additional shredding by Evan Bird & Emmett Miller (Diarrhea Planet), and -- best of all -- a flute solo by Ian Anderson of Jethro Tull. JEFFRO TULL LIVES!

Wasted On The Dream drops March 24th, but you can preorder it right here, right now. The album is available on limited edition blue & white vinyl and CD. Both preorder packs come with a black satin WASTED sleeping mask (perfect for naps & hangovers), Wasted On The Dream bumper sticker, and an MP3 download of "Black Cherry Pie" sent right to your inbox.

Thanks to Warner for the tip!
