In 2009, The Coathangers and These Arms Are Snakes shared a label and a tour.  Suicide Squeeze Records sent them out on the road to the east coast, giving audiences a dose of two sides of the punk spectrum.  The Coathangers’ charred garage rompers, similar to fellow Atlanta hooligans The Black Lips, were a far cry from the post punk dissonance of These Arms Are Snakes, but they yin’d each other’s yangs and gave the fans a f-ing show to remember.

These Arms Are Snakes unfortunately broke up soon after that tour, but Suicide Squeeze has dusted off a couple of tracks that never saw the light of day.  What better way to spotlight these two songs than to pair them with their old tour mates?  Bunch of romantics, those Suicide Squeezers.  Check out The Coathangers’ Gun Club cover below.

Suicide Squeeze is proud to release the split single worldwide on a limited vinyl run of 1,000 (clear w/ red and black splatter) 7”s with an accompanying download code. The songs are also available digitally.
