The Left Outsides release are a husband and wife duo in the vein of Richard & Linda Thompson. Beside some harmony vocals both sing with their clear voices alternating modern folk songs in the tradition of classic english folk ballads. In some songs you can hear the Indie-pop influence of Alison Cotton old Band “Saloon”. “Out Of Time, Out Of Place” has almost a Belle and Sebastian feel. “The Shape Of Things To Come” is their first vinyl release on the new Label Dawn Bird Records and only¬†available to pre-order from their Bandcamp.
