Sun Kil Moon released Benji to critical acclaim back in February, and we are finally getting a chance to savor ¬†heart crushing musical stories about getting accidentally killed by trashed aerosol cans on luscious yellow wax. ¬†Mark’s resent foray into indie white guy problem pseudo journal rap may be an acquired taste for some, but I consider Benji the album of the year thus far. ¬†All this being said – anything Mark Kozelek has put out on vinyl has been notoriously hard to track down. ¬†Amazon UK has a pre-order open for it (the black variant is up for pre-order as well), but I’m concerned pre-orders will be filled on a first come-first served basis. ¬†Don’t be surprised if you get a late night email saying they didn’t get enough in and your order has been canceled (speaking of heart crushing white guy problems). ¬†Good luck!
