RIYL: spoopy

Label: Whirling Hall of Knives

A spoopy day, such as this, calls for a spoopy release. Whirling Hall of Knives is an act I’ve written about before, and their music is as frightening as their name would suggest. Seacht is difficult to describe, other than calling it foreboding, so I feel like comparing it to spooky ideas and concepts. Seacht is like the cost of rent in your average New York City apartment. Seacht is comparable to how close in parity the euro is to our dollar. Seacht is like the uncertainty of where your next meal is going to come from. Seacht is like thinking about how much you’ve probably spent on vinyl in your lifetime. Seacht is like reminiscing on regretful decisions right before you pass out for roughly a seven-eight hour span of time. Seacht is like trying to think about how much you’ve spent on your hobbies and passions total. Seacht is like the ending of Mulholland Drive. Seacht is like the idea that there could not be an afterlife. Listen to Seacht below via the Bandcamp player and see what you think of it. Cheers!
