Flenser Records is a label for music enthusiasts who demand a challenging listen.  Their catalogue celebrates a beautiful cacophony of experimental music derived from metal, shoegaze and industrial influences.  Bands such as Have a Nice Life, White Suns and Deafheaven all have found a home here, and if you have a will for adventure, jump in and scour their releases for some truly unique and progressive stuff.

Kayo Dot have been around for over a decade and have dramatically changed lineups and styles, but the one constant is Toby Driver.  He blends brass instrumentation, squeaky string arrangements, doom metal and a wailing operatic vocal delivery, mastering the art of the unidentifiable genre.

The Details

This release is intended for an October 16th release date, however we've been told by our press that many vinyl projects are behind schedule. CD's should ship on or before October 16th.

Colored vinyl is limited to 300 copies on clear vinyl with a pinkish red marble.

Led by founding member Toby Driver (also of Secret Chiefs 3), Kayo Dot emerged in Boston, MA in 2002 from the ashes of metal group Maudlin of the Well. Since then, Driver has led Kayo Dot through several lineup changes and dramatic stylistic shifts: from traditional metal, to atmospheric, avant-garde metal; and now with their new album Coffins on Io, the bats-in-your-belfry hard rock of Sisters of Mercy meets Peter Gabriel-era Genesis, Scritti Politti and early Roxy Music.
