“Quagga” sounds like something you’d possibly hear while exploring the depths of a cavern in Metroid with its conglomeration of dying analog rage and chimes. This kind of marginalizing experimentation isn’t uncommon for Jamie Stewart and crew to dabble with. The B-side to this release, “Thylacine” (which is also called a Tasmanian Tiger) isn’t available for listening online as far as I know, otherwise I’d link you to that along with “Quagga” as I’ve done below on YouTube. There’s not much else to say, other than that Polyvinyl is saying that there’s only five copies left so if you like Xiu Xiu I’d suggest you snatch this up fast. Take a listen to “Quagga” below and see what you think of it. Cheers!
