“Quagga” sounds like something you’d possibly hear while exploring the depths of a cavern in Metroid with its conglomeration of dying analog rage and chimes. This kind of marginalizing experimentation isn’t uncommon for Jamie Stewart and crew to dabble with. The B-side to this release, “Thylacine” (which is also called a Tasmanian Tiger) isn’t available for listening online as far as I know, otherwise I’d link you to that along with “Quagga” as I’ve done below on YouTube. There’s not much else to say, other than that Polyvinyl¬†is saying that there’s only five copies left so if you like Xiu Xiu I’d suggest you snatch this up fast. Take a listen to “Quagga” below and see what you think of it. Cheers!
