RIYL: Macross 82-99, Desired, Yung Bae

Label: Neoncity Records

South Korean future funk and vaporwave artist Jung KyungHo, otherwise known to the masses as Night Tempo, is one of the most revered in the genre.  His 2017 full-length Fantasy is still considered by many future funk fans to be one of the most essential in the game. That same year, though, KyungHo put out Pure Baby Maker [Rewind], a slick hybrid of French House, yacht disco and 80s funk.  To the detriment of Night Tempo’s rapidly growing fanbase, the album was never released on vinyl.  Until now, young blood.

As is custom in Neoncity Records’ new era of vinyl production, no specific quantity of vinyl has been disclosed, but I wouldn’t wait long if you’re on the fence.  This vinyl release has been a long time coming and its fans are crazed lunatics.  Don’t doddle.  Listen to the album below and give that little ‘buy’ link a tap tappy.
