The first thing I think of when I hear EZLV’s “Ordinary Thing” is Toro y Moi’s latest album Anything in Return in regards to its flow and choice of instrumentation, so head down and listen to it immediately if that’s something you enjoy. However, this does have an identity all of its own. This French-Canadian duo have been around for a couple of years now and they’re making their mark on the scene with ease. “Ordinary Thing” is a six and half minute package of classic house goodness. This release is the inaugural release on 100% Silk‘s new imprint House of Silk, so if you end up liking and buying this you’re basically buying a piece of history. Now, since the other tracks are not available for preview as far as I know (I will be happy to be proven wrong if you link to something in the comments below) I can’t speak to them, but going off of this one track – if you like house, this is all you. Check it out and see what you think of it. Cheers!

The Details
