Originally released in 2011, Monster Rally & RUMTUM’s lush sample-heavy EP MR&RT is finally getting a vinyl treatment.  Packed to the brim with exotic soundscapes floating over an abstract hip hop foundation, you can almost feel the splash of a rainforest waterfall on your brow throughout the listen.  Similar to the Avalanches’ legendary debut Since I Left You, Monster Rally & RUMTUM know how to paint an image with their samples, rhythms and melodies.  The original 7 tracks play out like a family vacation somewhere off the grid, with a clear motif set in place for all 5 of your senses.

Gold Robot Records have not only given you a bone-colored wax treatment, but have added an additional three tracks to the EP, giving it the feel of a proper full-length.  This is a record that could just as easily be filed in your soundtrack collection as it would your electronic area, so take a listen below, catch some vibes and grab a slab after the ‘buy’ link.
