RIYL: Black Keys, White Stripes

Label: Romanus via Fonoflo Records

Well, the high-energy duo Brother O’ Brother don’t seem to be sleeping much these days. They’ve outdone themselves and have issued yet another quite amazing selection of variants for their self-titled record. The “dino filled” glow-in-the-dark variant lasted less than a few minutes upon its release a couple of weeks ago. (see images below)

Up for grabs right now are 3 variants: a yellow & blue splatter (/90), rainbow bolt (/30), and some random colors with limited numbers not revealed. All come with screen printed jackets done by the boys themselves.

Not familiar with Brother O’ Brother (Chris Banta on vocals and guitar & Warner Swopes on drums) or their self-titled album? Go to their Bandcamp site and download it for free and play it while you jump on this hot wax at https://brotherobrother.bandcamp.com/album/brother-o-brother

$18 – splatter

The Details

In 2014 Brother O' Brother released their first ever full length Self titled album to decent local fanfare. Since then, they have released 6 vinyl releases, with 6 more on the way this year. You read that right. However, their first full length was never available on vinyl, till now. Debuting on Fonoflo Records and Romanus Records. Independent Clauses states "The guitar and drums duo rips through heavy blues rock stompers with screaming guitars, howling vocals, and booming drumming. The band’s self-titled record doesn’t let up for the 30+ minute runtime."
