Welsh – the language of my ancestors, and quite possibly the most difficult language to get a hold on. The spelling for their words looks medieval and it feels like Welsh belongs in Lord of the Rings. From the little I’ve dabbled in it, I remember Cymru is “Welsh” in Welsh (I hope I’m right – I’m risking not looking it up) and cynhyrchiol means “productive” – yeah, that I did look up. The sentence structuring is kind of off-kilter, from what I recall, so I’m not sure if it’s supposed to be read “Productive Welsh” or “Welsh Productive.” The two tracks on here, clocking in the same length, are named the same but one in English and one in Welsh. They’re both these meandering experimental ambient tracks that just wander through your head leisurely. Just take the title of “Rest Your Heart Down Here” (in English and Welsh) to… heart. Listen to Cymru Cynhyrchiol below via the Bandcamp player and see what you think of it. Cheers!
