RIYL: KILN, Arca, Com Truise

The end of the year is almost here and our top ten list will be out sooner than later. I know there are many albums I didn’t get to or much less become aware of yet, so whenever I make a list it doesn’t feel right. This cassette I’m posting about, Resistance, came out a year and a half ago and I’m just now listening to it – for the record, I’m liking it a lot. Resistance still has copies left, and goes to exemplify all the music you can’t get to in time just due to the sheer magnitude. Whenever you complain about not being able to find something, just do a genre tag search on Bandcamp or Soundcloud and I guarantee you’ll find something to your liking. Not to ego stroke,  but seeing releases like this go overlooked reminds me why we exist. Always strive to get out of your comfort zone and listen to the new names. Don’t be afraid that your favorite artists ever list might change or an album you like gets displaced by something greater, so you have to explain this to your friends. It’s always good to have variety, which Resistance has plenty of. This is like a fusion of Com Truise, KILN, and Arca. Listen to Resistance below via the Bandcamp player and see what you think of it. Cheers!
