RIYL: post-apocalyptic haze among a sunset

Label: White Reeves Productions

Whenever I see “vault” now, I just think of Fallout so the picture this album paints for me is Fallout-esque. The Vault sounds like the first moments after the heavy alloy door breaks its hermetic seal on your existence and flings you forth in to the world. The first sight is off a deep red sun about to be hidden by the horizon, however. Essentially, you’re exchanging one form of darkness for another at this point in time. The Vault maintains an eerie atmosphere without descending in to complete chaos. It creates tension within its gently-laid haze. It kicks up dust in the back of your mind, and brings forth fountains of tension that may or may not be pressing issues. It wails and drones in to a dusty wasteland with no recipient in particular. The Vault is a night terror you have no respite from as it marches forward. Listen to the Bandcamp stream of The Vault below and see what you think of it. Cheers!
