RIYL: loops

Label: cloudface

It’s Friday – Good Friday to be exact. Sunday’s Easter. You may have noticed a noticeable absence at work today, if not yesterday as well. Perhaps they’ve taken those days off to be pious, or they’re just taking advantage of an old Christian holiday sequence. Either way, it’s Friday. You’re fried. Whether it’s work or school, you just want to chill out and take a breather. You don’t really have the energy to focus or think deeply about certain things. You hit up the vidyas, maybe. Perhaps you go out on the porch to have a smoke. Pour yourself a drink. If you’re here, you might throw a plate on to the ol’ turntable or a tape in to your boombox. Cloudface’s VARIATIONS consists of fuzzy synth loops, a la Raymond Scott without the eerie nature. This is something you can drift off to. Listen to VARIATIONS below via the Bandcamp player and see what you think of it. Cheers!
